Improving the Use Case Point Method
The Use Case Point (UCP) method provides an easy and early applicable way to estimate anticipated effort for software development projects. The estimation method is primarily based on measuring the functional size of a software system by identifying and rating use cases in a description of functional requirements. Use case rating relies on a heuristic that maps countable indicators for complexity to numeric values for use case size.
