The client provides tailor-made in-flight services for all types of airlines across the world. The three main service areas are:
- Airline catering
In-flight equipment
Logistics and in-flight management
Market challenges and drivers. It has been a necessity for our client to find a replacement for the current common procurement system (CPS). From a business point of view, the current application is slow, not user-friendly, does not cover all requirements, especially does not provide adequate figures to manage global and cross-regional activities to identify purchasing synergies. There are no standard reports / analysis / process and category structure to benchmark products, vendor and prices. The collection, harmonization and consolidation of data from different regions are mostly manual and time-consuming. Thus, in general, a better support for the sourcing of data is expected in this project.
